What is the HDPE technology?

HDPE stands for high density polyethylene. This material is lighter than water. It can be formed and machined, and HDPE elements can be welded together. The material is resistant to oxidizers such as sulphuric acid, nitric acid and other agents. It is also physiologically neutral. HDPE is fully recyclable. Its mechanical strength is very good. It is resistant to biological growth and ultraviolet radiation (when black in colour). All this makes HDPE the ideal material for motorboats and other aquatic solutions.

Advantages

  • Durable structure
  • Unsinkable: the tubes are separated into the watertight compartments
  • Safe to use: handgrips and many anti-slip surfaces made of high-quality material
  • Buoyancy: HDPE material is lighter than water
  • High impact resistance: the boat can moor on a rocky shore, operate in shallow waters or in flooded areas
  • Resistant to: UV, corrosion, and most chemicals
  • Ready to be used in rough conditions
  • Maintenance: no painting, easy to clean, quick repairs
  • Flexible design: easily customizable to specific requirements by adding a hard top, a wheelhouse, a cabin, extra benches or seats, lockers, or other elements even for already produced boats
  • The bow is designed to make easy exit or entrance while the boat is facing the quay
  • High stiffness of the tubes ensures the boat's stability on the water surface
  • Seaworthy, fast planing hull
  • Shallow draught and high directional stability
  • Environmentally friendly (nearly all parts of the boat are recyclable)
  • Designed in compliance with Directive 2013/53/UE
